Wow! Japan! Sounds amazing! Noelia - wishing you an amazing trip! Sounds like you have plenty of time this time to explore more and enjoy the different social activities!

It's been 9 years since hubby and I visited Tokyo for my 40th birthday. We are talking of going back soon. I'm saving your post for that exact reason. :)

I know! I am so looking forward to it! When we went 2 years ago, we loved it so much we were planning our next visit and then Simon got this conference there so it was the perfect excuse to go back! I would try to make a post of my experience there to help you plan your return to Japan!

I always find packing to be so tough because I want to bring everything with me - this is a helpful guide :)

Noelia Santana's avatar

Oh so happy it helps! I hate overpacking and even with a strict list I always end up not wearing something!

Xue's avatar

Have so much fun! Japan is just amazing.

Noelia Santana's avatar

Thank you so much Xue! I am so in love with Japan so I am looking forward to being there again. If you have any recommendations please send them my way! xx

I’m there again in June! I love it! But I do v little fashion shopping while I’m there and just do stationary shopping, sightseeing, and lots of eating 😂

Noelia Santana's avatar

Oh no way! when in June? I am going to be there until the 8th of June. Oh I know that’s a big one in Japan, that could be dangerous too. Actually do you have any recommendations for serums and amazing beauty products? I have checked all the usual articles - “must have beauty products to buy in Japan”, but they all seem to be the same.

I also love La labo’s Tokyo exclusive GAIAC 10

I've said this before and I'll say it again -- as a STRAIGHT UP chaotic packer, I LOVE THESE posts! I also feel horrible bc when I voted on the poll of course I said you need both, lol. I am the problem. It's me! Wishing you the best trip!

Noelia Santana's avatar

Hahaha! I love it! I know if I don’t take both I am going to regret it so you are just helping me! Thank you darling! xx

I’ve got a great 100% cotton cream jumper from Navygrey called the easy. They don’t seem to have that type at the moment but usually do it in navy and would fit your chunky navy jumper request. So not useful for your trip but they’re doing a t shirt version you might be interested in. Pricey but will last forever. Have the best time!

Noelia Santana's avatar

Thank you so much Julia! I am going to check it out! I’ve never bought anything from Navygrey but I like a good investment piece if it comes with a good recommendation!

Julia's avatar

They’re very classic but the best production and always the jumper I reach for. Plus they advise you don’t wash them regularly (if at all) and I’m always up for an excuse not to wash h things too much 😂 (DW it’s natural fibres so doesn’t smell!). Hope you have a wonderful time

Noelia Santana's avatar

Oh exactly! that is the key for knitwear imo, and to be honest most clothes that don’t require regular washing, just don’t wash them! they last longer for sure.

I love the packing guide and tips here! Enjoy Japan!

Noelia Santana's avatar

Thank you so much Emily! I am so excited, slightly less excited about packing, but I am happy I put this post together so I don't go crazy!

Natalia Herrera's avatar

So fun and have fun!! I kind of always wish I’d brought less… and I note that your black maxi dress is the same shape as 2 others so that’s why I voted mini!

Noelia Santana's avatar

Thank you so much! I cannot wait! The first time I went, I thought exactly the same , I could have bought so much more, so I am definitely not making the same mistake this time 😂

And yes, I think the mini is definitely more versatile and takes up less space too! Thank you so much for reading and for your help!

Great list - and so jealous! Love the idea of fancier flip flops for dinners.
